2014 Club Championship

Dates:       July 19^th – July 25th       Championship Flight Rd. of 32 (if necessary)
                    Saturday July 26^th -        Round of 16
                    Sunday July 27^th –          Elite 8
                    Saturday August 2^nd –    Semi Finals
                    Sunday August 3^rd –       Championship Sunday

Special Note:

Men’s Championship FlightAll members who wish to participate in the Championship flight must sign up before Thursday July 17^th. If there is greater than 16 players who wish to compete in the top flight, a 5^th round of matches will be necessary. These matches can be played at the member’s convenience and must be completed before Saturday July 26^th.


Flight Information: All participants in the various A, B and C flights will be seeded based on their handicap index as of the July 15^th revision. All matches with in each flight will be played at scratch. The flights will be created as follows:
A flight – first 16 players based on handicap index after the championship flight members have been identified
B flight(s) – next 16 players based on handicap index…
C flights(s) – next 16 players based on handicap index…

Note: All remaining players may be sub divided into smaller flights (C can be divided into flights of 8 so that a C1 flight can exist if the indexes are too spread out)

Ladies Club Championship

• All ladies will compete in a stroke play format with full handicap

• There will be one overall gross score club champion. All other ladies will compete in separate flights based on handicap index. These flights will compete at 100% handicap in a net competition

• All ladies will compete over 3 days of stroke play counting the best 2 scores as the tournament total. If you are unable to play all 3 days, you may choose to play in only two and both of those scores must count

This format is based on expected turnout. Flights are subject to change based on participation.
