Ryder Cup Update
Saturday afternoon play has been cancelled. After looking at the forecast and driving the course, I think it's in all of our best interests to cancel play for this afternoon. After about an inch of rain, the golf course has many areas of standing water and more importantly, the rough is very wet, unsafe to drive on and I know the cart traffic would cause significant damage.
We will proceed with our third option for the event and play 27 holes on Sunday with team matches starting at 8:00am on both the 1st and 10th tees. A 9 hole singles match will immediately follow team play. Exact tee times will be posted online later this afternoon and singles match pairings will be determined during play tomorrow morning by the team captains.
