Double The Fun With A Hole-In-One

A special acknowledgement goes out to Dr. Michael Diamond and Melanie Little who each recorded a hole in one at the club during play last week.

The first hole in one of the week came on Sunday May 3 by Dr. Michael Diamond.  During a round of golf with his wife Judi, Dr. Diamond's 7 iron on the 4th hole found its way into the cup for his first ever hole in one.  No longer does he have to play second fiddle as the only member of the household not to have recorded a hole in one.  What a relief it was!!!

On Thursday May 7, Melanie Little added to the hole in one fun at the Hamlet.  During a round of golf with her husband Ray, Melanie hit an 8 iron on the 11th hole that also found the bottom of the cup for an ace.  Melanie's hole in one was the club's third at the Hamlet this spring.

All members who record a hole in one at the club during the year receive a pro shop credit, a plaque and most importantly, a nameplate immortalizing their achievement forever on the Hole In One board located in the members bar.  Congratulations Dr. Diamond and Mrs. Little on this wonderful achievement.
