Looks like their may be a chance of wet weather in the forecast for tomorrow morning. As of the latest update, Accuweather is predicting a 40% chance of light showers throughout the morning. We will make EVERY effort to proceed with the tournament as scheduled so prepare to wear any rain gear you may have and bring an umbrella.
As you are aware, the Hamlet Cup is a two day team stroke play event and next weekend is Memorial Day weekend with golf events scheduled each day making a postponment of any day this weekend very difficult to reschedule.
Of course if the conditions become unplayable or severe weather is imenent, we will take every precaution in the best interests and safety of our participants. As of now, a final decision to delay or cancel any tee times for the event will not be made until at least 7 AM tomorrow morning so there is no need to contact the golf shop before that time.
Everyone, its time to do the sun dance and hope for the best. I'll see everyone at the club tomorrow morning.
