2016 Hamlet President's Cup

Just a reminder that the sign up for the 2016 President's Cup is open and the deadline for the event of Wednesday September 14th is coming up soon.  The sign up sheet is located on the credenza outside of the golf pro shop by the handicap computer.

What is the President's Cup?

The President's Cup is a member / member team match play event.  Each partner must be within 5 handicap strokes of one another or an adjustment will be made to the higher handicapped player.


The event begins on Saturday September 17 with a stroke play qualifying.  Teams that advance to the match play portion of the event, start the quarterfinals on Sunday September 18 with the Semi-finals and Finals to be held on September 24 & 25.  

Flights are determined based on participation in both men and women divisions.  We anticipate having an A, B & C flight in the men's division and based on participation an A & B flight for the ladies.


In the Men's division, the top 8 teams from the stroke play qualifier will advance to match play on Sunday, September 18, while the number of teams advancing to match play in the ladies division will be based on participation.
