Congratulations to Stuart Kertzner and John Simone for starting off the Labor Day weekend each with a Hole-In-One at the club. Their ace's were the 11th and 12th Hole-In-One recorder at the club in 2016.
Stuart started off the holiday weekend with an ace on Friday, September 2 on the 8th hole. Stu's 8 iron from 118 yards out found the bottom of the cup for his first Hole-In-One.
Yesterday, John Simone decided to get into the action hitting a 5 iron into the wind on the 13th hole that stayed on the flag the whole way, took a bounce and rolled into the cup. The Hole-In-One was the 5th of John's career and amazingly, the 3rd this season for the Simone brothers. Earlier this May, fellow member Carl recorded a Hole-In-One on the 11th hole and during "The Tradition", Carl and John's brother Richie also made one on the 13th hole.
Members of the Hamlet celebrated Stu's Hole-In-One at the club with drinks on Friday and Saturday and the celebration of John's ace will continue through Sunday night.
Members who are enrolled in The Hamlet's Hole-In-One program can come to the club today to get their free drink in the Member's Bar and help us celebrate these two great accomplishments.
