2016 Hamlet Ryder Cup

Saturday, October 8 - Sunday, October 9

With the increased participation in this year's event, we have changed the format from the 54 hole event that we have played in previous years to a 45 hole event consisting of 27 holes of play on Saturday.

The 27 hole play on Saturday will consist of three 9-Hole matches and although changes may be made, in the interest of time, team pairings will most likely be the same for each 9 hole match.

Front 9 – “Four ball” (Better ball of 2)

Back 9 – Shamble (Better ball of 2)

Front 9 – Modified “Foursomes” or Alternate shot

Each 9-hole match is worth one point
Matches will begin play at 8:00 AM.  Foursomes matches will begin at 1:00 PM

Of course, Sunday will still be the 18-Hole singles matches each worth one point.  Pairings and tee times for the singles matches will be determined and posted during play on Saturday.

The deadline for the event is Sunday October 2.  We will confirm participation for the event starting today with the hopes that the teams can be chosen by Tuesday afternoon and the team captains (myself & Jon Kudysch) can contact their team to create the pairings for Saturday play with tee times posted by Thursday afternoon.
