2016 Hamlet Golf Club Championships
Play Begins Saturday, July 30
Sign up has begun for the 2016 Hamlet Club Championships. Play in all flights in both the Men's and Ladies divisions will begin on Saturday July 30. The format for this years championships is as follows...
Both Men's and Ladies divisions will play the first two rounds in a stroke play qualifier at scratch, in each flight to qualify for match play. The top 8 qualifiers in each Men's flight will be seeded into a match play draw. The ladies division may go directly into a semi-final match play based on flight participation.
The Men's division will include a championship flight for all players with a single digit handicap index, as well as an A, B, C & C1 flight. The ladies division will include a championship flight for all players under a 19.9 index and the remaining players will be placed into flights based on participation.

Men's Flights
Championship Flight - 0.0 ~ 9.9 index
A Flight - 10.0 ~ 14.9 index
B Flight - 15.0 ~ 19.9 index
C Flight - 20.0 ~ 24.9 index
C1 Flight - All players who qualify for the "Rule of 85" or have an index greater 25.0 (The C1 Flight will be handicapped)
Ladies Flights
Championship Flight - under 19.9 index
A & B Flight - TBD based on participation

Saturday, July 30 - Round 1 (Stroke Play)
Sunday, July 31 - Round 2 (Stroke Play)
Saturday, August 6 - Match Play Quarterfinals
Sunday, August 7 - Match Play Semi-Finals
Saturday, August 13 - Championship Weekend (Finals)
